Privacy policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
This policy explains what data is processed when you visit biancanomadstudio.com, use the contact form or message me on WhatsApp, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data
This website belongs to Bianca, web designer at Bianca Nomad Studio. For any privacy question, message me on WhatsApp at +1 250 731 4927.
What the site collects
The site has no sign-ups and only asks for personal information in the contact form, if you choose to use it. When pages load, some technical data is processed automatically:
- Server logs. The hosting company records your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
- Country. If you haven’t chosen a language yet, your IP address is sent to the GeoJS service, which returns only a country code. It’s used to suggest the version of the site in your language; the site doesn’t switch language on its own. That code stays in your browser and is deleted when you close the tab.
- Visit statistics. To see how many people visit the site, which country they come from, which pages they open and how they found it, I use Burst Statistics, a tool installed on the site itself. It uses no cookies and doesn’t recognize you from one day to the next. Your IP address is only used to identify your country and isn’t kept in the statistics. This data stays on the site’s server and isn’t sent to third parties.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It only uses what it needs to work:
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
cookieyes-consent | Stores your choice in the cookie notice. | 1 year |
bns-lang | Remembers the language you picked, so the site opens straight in that version (local storage). | Until you clear your browser |
bns-cc | Stores the detected country to suggest the language (session storage). | Until you close the tab |
persist:qlwapp:2 | Remembers the state of the WhatsApp button (local storage). | Until you clear your browser |
You can change your cookie preferences at any time with the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of the screen, or delete this data in your browser settings.
Third-party services
- Hostinger: website hosting and content delivery network.
- Google Fonts: the site’s typeface loads from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- GeoJS: detects your country to suggest the language.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only used if you click a WhatsApp button. The conversation is covered by WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
These services may process data outside your country, for example in the United States or the European Union.
When you send me a message
If you use the contact form, I receive by email your name, your company (if you add it), your email and your message. A copy of that email stays in the site’s sending log for up to 14 days and is then deleted automatically. To prevent spam, an encoded version of your IP address is kept for one hour.
If you message me on WhatsApp, I receive your profile name, your number and what you write. I use this only to reply and prepare proposals. I don’t sell or share your data. I keep the conversation while it’s useful for our work and delete it when you ask.
Why data is processed
Technical data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the site working, secure and in your language, and in understanding in general terms how it is used. Messages are processed to reply to you and to take steps before a contract.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, and object to its use. These rights apply under Brazil’s LGPD, Europe’s GDPR and the data protection laws of Canada and Ecuador. To use them, message me on WhatsApp. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in Canada.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
